You asked, we listened, and then we answered. Thanks to many user requests, you can now personalize the intake of certain nutrients in Nutrino with our new custom diet feature.
First, you need to know where to find it. If you go to My Profile > Goals and Needs > Custom Diet (beta), you can get started.
Inside the custom diet, you can set percentage intake of carbs, fat, and protein based on your calories. You can set your diet to 80% carbs, 10% fat, and 10% protein so that Nutrino gives you recommendations based on these percentages. Are you trying to follow a low fat diet? Reduce your fat percentage, and increase your protein and carbs. Low carb diet? You can lower your carb percentage and increase fat and protein.
Below the macronutrient percentage gauge, you can also set your calorie, fiber, and sodium intake. For those who are looking to restrict or increase calorie intake, follow a high fiber or low sodium diet, these tools allow you to do so.
We are very excited about the custom diet, and want you to get the most out of it. That’s why we wrote this guide (link to guide), on a few ways that you can use the custom diet feature.
While they’re are many great ways to use this feature, we always recommend consulting with your physician before beginning a new diet. If you are unsure about the appropriate amount of nutrients for you, don’t worry. You can leave the custom diet feature set to the default, and Nutrino will recommend healthy meals for you.
